Sheryl Chappell: Goalkeeper signed in December 2001 from Newcastle’s Northern Combination team. Sheryl has experience with Blyth Spartans Kestrels and Killingworth.

Kirsty Elliott: Right back Kirsty has been with us for over three years and is one of the most consistent players in the club.

Chrissie Hetherington: Chrissie has also been with us for some time. Usually plays at left back although can push further up the left side. Has scored goals following mazy runs.

Deborah Wall: Has been with the club since the early days, like Chrissie is a former county junior player. Has played anywhere across the back four, a great club player.

Linda Ulker: Another former Kestrel, Linda joined us at the beginning of the 2001/02 season and won the Player’s Player Award for that season. Has become a great asset to the club.

Kimberley Hardy: Another player who joined us at the beginning of that season, coming from Morpeth Town. Kim was both the Manager’s and Supporters Player of the Year for the 2001/02 season and is one of the most improved players we have.

Steph Ord: At fifteen Steph is the youngest player in the club but this doesn’t deter from performance. She can play at the back, on the left side and also upfront and was second top scorer this season.

Kelly Auld: Came to the club at the start of the 2001/02 season with very little experience but has developed as time goes on.

Laura Topham: Another former Morpeth player, Laura joined us in time for the last three games of the 2001/02 season, and has developed well this season.

Kelly Hall: Kelly is a right sided midfield player who has also been with us from the early days. A former junior player.

Zoe Fletcher: Team captain and an influential midfield player who can score vital goals for the club. Has been with the club for over five years.

Helen Gibson: Another former county player who joined us as a junior from Ponteland. Helen can play down the left and in the centre of midfield but has recently played down the right.

Joanne Dixon: Joanne is equally at home in midfield or up front. Joanne has played both seasons in senior Women’s football and was joint Player of the Year for the 2001/02 season.

Stacy Crooks: Has been with the club for four years since signing from Grainger Girls. Stacy is a consistent goal scorer who has been top scorer here for two seasons and shared last season’s Player of the Year with Joanne.

Gill Dixon: Signed at the beginning of this season. Gill is a former Blyth Spartans Kestrel like Linda Ulker and has been a great asset.

Clare Wilkinson: Signed from Killingworth, Clare is a lively and quick player who contributed greatly to the squad this season.

Jolene Byers: Is a capable deputy to Sheryl between the posts and has certainly benefited from working with Sheryl and Steve.

Julie Burt: Julie is a new player this season with no real experience prior to now. However she has adapted well.

Rachel Thompson: Rachel has not played at all this season after suffering a knee injury in training. A player who has been with us since 1999 and has been sorely missed. A right sided or central midfield player.
